Welcome. As you know we are proposing that Greensward College in Hockley and The John Bramston School and The Rickstones School in Witham become Academies. Academies are a new type of school that aims to raise educational standards and offer new learning facilities and opportunities to students and their local communities.

 

Thanks for helping us come up with names for the proposed Academies in Hockley and Witham - Greensward Academy, New Rickstones Academy and, for The John Bramston School, The Maltings Academy.

Now we’d like you to send your ideas to help us create new logos for the proposed New Rickstones Academy and The Maltings Academy; if the Academies go ahead Greensward Academy will use its existing logo.

All ideas are welcome. The most creative and original student or prospective student suggestion for each logo will win one of two Nintendo Wii consoles.
